Throughout the year, Deaf Active organises a wide range of family events that bring Deaf and hearing families together to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Our events provide opportunities for families to build friendships, share experiences, and access valuable peer support within a welcoming and inclusive community.

From exciting family trips to centre celebrations, there is something for everyone to enjoy. In 2026, we will celebrate our third consecutive year of taking more than 100 people on our annual trip to Alton Towers. We also host and support popular events throughout the year, including Halloween celebrations, the Joseph Lappin Festival, and our annual Pride of Deaf Active Awards, which has proudly celebrated the achievements of our community for the past five years.

At Deaf Active, we believe that financial circumstances should never prevent families from enjoying quality time together or taking part in memorable experiences. We work hard to make our events affordable and accessible, ensuring that as many families as possible can participate, have fun, and create lifelong memories together.
