Youth Club

Our Youth Club runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging space for Deaf and hearing young people aged 11 and over to socialise, build friendships, and develop new skills.

At Deaf Active, we believe young people should have a voice in shaping the activities they take part in. Our Youth Club is youth-led, giving members the opportunity to plan sessions and trips, create digital and social media content, and even design and deliver activities for their peers. This helps develop confidence, leadership, communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills in a supportive environment.

With a variety of fun activities, workshops, games, and community projects, every session offers something different. Delivered in an accessible and inclusive environment, our Youth Club empowers young people to take ownership of their experiences, build lasting friendships, and develop valuable life skills while having fun.
